Vice President Duwa Lashi La gave a speech at the first meeting between the National Unity Government (NUG) and the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH)

The Vice President said in his speech that although there are many challenges in each ministry, the National Unity Government is trying its best and has set policies and strategies in almost every ministry.

In addition, he also discussed that it is important to draw laws and policies which can be accepted by ethnic armed forces and political parties, and CRPH to set guidelines that lead to national unity.

CRPH Chairman U Aung Kyi Nyunt also discussed that the purpose of this meeting is to provide advice for collaborations between the working committees formed by CRPH and the National Unity Government, and to share the NUG’s activities with the CRPH.

At the meeting, The Union Minister H.E Man Win Khaing Than presented the activities of each ministry.

Members of Parliament also asked questions, and the relevant ministries responded. The Vice President then successfully adjourned the meeting, delivering a closing remark.
